Meet Me at Dawn
I directed and produced Meet Me at Dawn by Zinnie Harris with Snails on a Bike, a theatre collective specializing in specific and found-space theatre. Meet Me at Dawn took place on the Chicago River at the Wild Mile, the world’s first regenerative floating eco-park, in collaboration with Urban Rivers. this production marked my return to the Wild Mile, after previously co-directing Eurydice there in 2024. this time, audiences sat at the very end of the boardwalk while the action took place on Siren Island, a floating stage atop a pontoon boat suspended in the Chicago River, designed by Serena JV Elston. the production ran from September 11-21, 2026.
a day, a wish, a moth, a motor. the sun is setting and so is Robyn and Helen’s certainty. a flashlight beam angled at disfiguring grief and enduring love, Meet Me at Dawn is about one precious moment and what to do with it.
